A weekly online session based around Khandro Rinpoche’s Devotion & Stability text, which includes, amongst other practices, The Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind Towards Dharma, Calling the Lama from a Far & Shamatha meditation, including The Three Vajra Syllables. This is an opportunity for those who wish to develop or renew the ground of their practice and connection to Khandro Rinpoche. It is a concise daily practice, blessed by Shakya Shri lineage holders, to deepen devotion, strengthen stability and awaken the heart to inner freedom.
As Khandro Rinpoche writes in the preface to this text:
This world today is fast, unreliable, intellectual and often impersonal—what is most needed is a simple, direct, regular practice that brings one back to what is essential. These practices, drawn from an authentic lineage, have been used throughout the centuries to do just this…. it is my wish that through these practices you will be able to touch deeply the all abiding truth and live with stability and devotion—ever learning through study, reflection and meditation the legacy that our masters before have shown us.
These sessions are available online or in person at a student’s house in Hobart, Tasmania (to find exact location email, hobart@khachodling.org).
