The vision and projects of Khandro Thrinlay Chodon
Khandro Thrinlay Chodon’s Sanctuary in Hervey Bay is a testament to her family style of yogic lineage teachings.
This home-like space enables us, a devoted group of students, to meet regularly and practice. We live and work in a community atmosphere which has become our practice in daily life.
We support Khandro Thrinlay Chodon and Khachodling’s spiritual and humanitarian activities both locally and internationally.
Hervey Bay is the Gateway to world heritage listed K’Gari (Fraser) Island. Rinpoche has a deep heart connection to K’Gari Island and its Indigenous people. Each year from July to October the warm sheltered waters of Hervey Bay become a safe haven for humpback whales and their newborn calves. When in Australia, Khandro-la gives teachings and leads a deep spiritual pilgrimage to K’Gari Island
Hervey Bay is approx. 4 hours drive north of Brisbane and connected by flight to major cities.
