About Karma Bodh : Karma is a bright and optimistic teenager known for his positive outlook on life and resilience in the face of adversity. Despite growing up in modest circumstances, his enthusiasm for learning and determination to improve his family’s future stand out as defining aspects of his character.
Karma comes from a financially challenged household. His mother is employed as a cleaning staff member with the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) under the Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE). She works long hours — from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., six days a week — and has been the family’s primary breadwinner for several years.
In 2019, just prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, Karma’s father suffered a serious leg injury that left him bedridden for an extended period. This incident significantly impacted the family’s financial stability, placing the entire burden on his mother during an already difficult time.
Fortunately, with time and medical attention, Karma’s father has made a strong recovery. He now operates a small grocery store near their home, contributing once again to the household income and alleviating some of the financial strain.
Karma’s upbringing in such challenging circumstances has instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility, gratitude, and perseverance. He remains committed to his education and personal growth, with the aim of one day creating a more secure and comfortable life for his parents. His grounded values and forward-looking attitude make him a promising individual with the potential to rise above his circumstances.
Q. What do you want to be when you grow up :I have seen my mother going to work daily and how the army officers treat her well and one day he dreams of becoming an army officer as he also wants to serve the nation.
