Chhering began primary school in 2019 after attending cultural studies for many years on Sundays at Drukpa Gompa with her Grandmother Dicki.
Dicki lives next to the Drukpa Gompa and the family has been devotees of Shakya Shri for many many years. Chhering’s Grandad was Lama with Apho Rinpoche.
