Vow Ceremony – Final Heart Treasure Session for 2025 – 14 December

Khandro Rinpoche commenced this Heart Treasure series on the auspicious day of Chokor Duchen in 2024. These teachings are based on the root text by Dza Patrul Rinpoche and commentary by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. This text and commentary, known as “Heart Treasure” provides a complete path through the practice of the six syllable mantra of the Buddha of Compassion.  

Committed students have progressed in their study of the text through to verse 38 in the chapter on The Path of the Tantras. The study has included repeated slow, deep contemplation and meditation practice on every verse.

This vow ceremony is a special session for students whom have contemplated and practiced these teachings and who are now well prepared with a knowledge and understanding of what these refuge and boddhisattva vows mean. This session is a vow/commitment ceremony, and is an entry session for the path of learning and practice ahead – from verse 38 onward through a deeper study into the path of tantra. Such teachings will commence with Khandro Rinpoche early 2026.

To attend this ceremony you will have contemplated the teachings to date and be willing to engage in this special vow taking ceremony with a full heart. Please be ready to participate at the exact start time, set yourself in front of your shrine, with the text, incense, candle and katak in hand. Make your offering in addition to the usual ticket price via the ticket purchase on the website. Of course if you wish to also make offering in person to Rinpoche that is also possible.

Please note this ceremony concludes the year’s teaching in this series. Next year Rinpoche will continue teachings of the next sections of the text, further deepening our practice in the Path of Tantra. The teaching programme will recommence in late January 2026.

Each ticket grants access to the same event. It allows you to make your offering in accord with your means. You may contribute an amount between $21 and $210. Please know this is a special ceremony given by the Master whom witnesses your dedication to the path of dharma. They also commit to you and your practice. It is a special and very important two way exchange ritual. Please bring katak (white ceremonial scarf) to the ceremony and make your offering according to your means and commitment.
