Open Heart Open Road. Motor bike adventure in the Indian Himalayas

Experience the adventure of the remote high Indian Himalayan mountains. From New Delhi you will make your way north to Manali which sits 7000 ft above sea level and is the gateway to the high Himalayan ranges and its many remote regions. Your accomodation in Aloka Resort has all modern amenities and the most beautiful view of the Himalayan ranges. This will be home base as you receive your bikes and equipment and become familiar with this as you explore the local region. Sey Jigme Dorje is your guide. He grew up riding bikes in this region and he loves the vast sky and huge snow mountains as well as sharing the culture and traditions of his own land and people.
Once comfortable with your bikes you will head higher into the remote Zanskar valley, an area now made more accessible due to the opening of the world’s highest road tunnel. Zanskar is unlike any other place on earth – a high altitude semi-desert with its people living in the same manner as they have for centuries. Buddhist in culture you will meet locals and yogis, see amazing rivers and glaciers, yaks and deer, share food, drink, dance and song, visit amazing monasteries and caves etched into rockfalls and high vistas.
A feast of the senses that will take you out of your everyday world.
