A Shower of Blessing Guru Yoga Practice – Guru Rinpoche’s 7 line prayer

This retreat is a rare opportunity to journey deeply into the heart space of Mahasandhi with an authentic female lineage Master who will transmit the essentialised guru yoga practice of Guru Rinpoche’s – 7 line prayer. Khandro Rinpoche is renowned worldwide for bringing the ancient teachings alive through the vibration of her melodious sound.
Khandro Rinpoche is a direct descendant of Togden Shakya Shri, whose master and heart teacher was Mipham Rinpoche – both were great luminaries of their time. As a direct descendant and a lineage holder fluent in English and western psychology, Khandro Rinpoche brings alive these ancient practices to apply in our modern uncertain world. She speaks with humanity, clarity and joy.
During this weekend Khandro Rinpoche will offer transmission of this practice, impart the authentic chanting of the 7 line prayer and bring the blessings of this guru yoga practice into everyday life so that we become the instruments of Guru Rinpoche’s blessings in this modern world of uncertainty.
The retreat will conclude with a Candlelight Puja on Sunday. Please bring flowers to offer for this signature puja. You are welcome to invite family and friends at 4.30pm and all participants will assist in creating the unique flower mandala.
Retreat Details
Saturday starts promptly at 11am and finishes at 6pm. Sunday begins at 9am and finishes at 6pm. You are encouraged to keep “retreat mind” during Saturday evening. You may also keep a similar “retreat mind” during the days you are preparing and departing from the retreat.
Morning and afternoon teas are provided and bring your own lunch.
Parking is scarce so we recommend using public transport. Newtown train station is a 5 to 10minute walk from the Rigpa Temple
