Heart Treasure Practice Session – 31 October

Khandro Rinpoche continues this Heart Treasure teaching series and this evening is a practice session.

Before giving Refuge, Bodhicitta, Pratimoksha Vows, Rinpoche has decided that it is time to change the format of these Heart Treasure teachings.  Rather than written answers to questions, Khandro Rinpoche is inviting each of us to delve deeper on a personal level as we explore our own unique experiential insights of the changes that Dharma has brought into our everyday lives.

How has Dharma impacted your ordinary thinking mind—your ego, ego’s grip, your relationships—in your work, in your family? Please be prepared to just share a glimpse of your own life.

Khandro Rinpoche is inviting us to open ourselves, look deeply within and be honest with ourselves. To cut the grip of ego and speak from that place truthfully, and without fear. Please share also any doubts or hesitations that may trouble you, don’t hide. You are in the lap of Chenrezig, held by Khandro Rinpoche. Please open your speech chakra, and speak up. 

As Rinpoche says, “Speech blockages are the biggest obstacle to the path of enlightenment, since this is related to solidified fear. So let’s shake it.” You need to understand Khandro Rinpoche is wanting you to speak for yourself. This is an important process, it is important that we take time to consider it carefully.

The Heart Treasure teachings are based on the root text by Dza Patrul Rinpoche and commentary by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. This text and commentary, known as “Heart Treasure” provides a complete path through the practice of the six syllable mantra of the Buddha of Compassion. Khandro Rinpoche received these teachings directly from Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and we are fortunate indeed to study & practice with such a direct and profound connection. 

Whilst committed students have progressed in their study of the text through to verse 38 in the chapter on The Path of the Tantras, Khandro Rinpoche is reviewing all chapters again in her signature study group style to assist our deepening understanding, reflection and application.

This series of study group teachings require a commitment to ongoing study and practice at your level. Therefore you will need to register as a member prior to being able to make your offering, receive the unique zoom link and attend each teaching. 

Each ticket grants access to the same event, but allows you to make an offering that feels right for you. You may contribute an amount between $0 and $210.

Once you register and make an offering, you will receive an email with the Zoom link, event details, and a calendar invitation to support your participation.
