Postponed – Full Moon Retreat by the Lake (non-residential)

Fri, 18 March, 2022 @ 5:30 pm Sun, 20 March, 2022 @ 3:00 pm Australia/Perth

This retreat has been postponed due to changing Covid restrictions and will be rescheduled for later in 2022.

Weekend of compassion meditation infused with sound and healing

Full moon and year beginning is a time for rejuvenation and relaxation. Re-orient your life with clear and compassionate directions.

Khandro Thrinlay Chodon will impart the authentic meditation of her Himalayan yogic lineage. As well as mindfulness meditation she will teach the chanting and visualisation practice that develops compassion from the mind treasure of her great grandfather, Togden Shakya Shri.

This profound and powerful practice radiates love and compassion in transformative ways.

Khandro Thrinlay Chodon is a teacher rooted in the authenticity of her own tradition while also being a modern lay woman of warmth and insight. She is committed to revealing how ancient methods of wisdom and compassion are to be practiced and applied in our everyday lives so that they become joyful and meaningful for ourselves, our communities and our planet.

On this retreat Khandro Thrinlay Chodon will be joined by ceremonial musicians Kavisha Mazella and Julian Silburn. (See below for further details)

An ausipicious time to retreat.

As well as being a full moon the commencement of this retreat begins on one of the four important days of the Buddhist calendar. Chotrul Duchen commemorates when Buddha manifested a different miracle each day for 15 days. It is an auspicious time for reflection and realignment to what really matter. Perfect for retreat and inner rejuvenation!
