SUMMARY:Milarepa Practice Session and Candlelight Puja- 27 April
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s Milarepa practice will include a Candlelight puja. \nCandlelight PujaThe candlelight puja is a practice from the Buddhist tradition\, which involves preparing a beautiful flower and candle mandala and invites participants to invoke those in their lives who have died or who are having difficulties. The practice itself will bring the intentions of the participants for their loved ones into the pure space of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas where their sufferings\, pain\, guilt\, regrets transform into wisdom and compassion. \n\n\n \nContribution to the MandalaIf you are in Hervey Bay  and would like to contribute to the construction of the mandala please bring flowers and/ or tea lights to the venue by 5pm. For in person attendance it is customary to bring cash notes in two seperate envelopes on the evening (one for deceased and one for obstacle removal). Online attendees can make offerings online via the link below. \n\n\n \nFollowing this ceremony Khandro Rinpoche has arranged the full 49 day Shitro choega (puja) to be performed in the Himalayas by monks and yogis of Khachodling. All in person cash offerings as well as those online will be sent to the Himalayas so that your loved ones are included in these practices. \nThis candlelight puja is dedicated to and sponsored by Robyn North Zaman.  \nIf you would like to also make an offering towards this Puja – to accumulate merit and clear away obstacles  – for yourself and your loved ones please make your offering to the following account:  \nName: Khachodling Limited Branch: Westpac BSB: 034136ACC: 417732  \nemail onlineevents@khachodling.org with names for dedication and you will be sent the Zoom link for attending online. \nMilarepa \nMilarepa (1052-1135) exchanged a life of cruelty and maliciousness for one of contemplation and love. After years of regular meditation practice in remote mountain settings he realised the nature of mind\, lived in joy and equanimity and expressed all that he had learnt in beautifully poetic songs of realisation. In doing so he became one of Tibet’s most beloved yogis. \n\n\n \nTogden Shakya Shri’s Mahamudra lineage traces back to Milarepa. Khandro Rinpoche’s father\, Apho Rinpoche was said to be an emanation of Milarepa. \n\n\n \nKhandro Rinpoche is now residing in the Sanctuary in Hervey Bay and has recently been joined by her brother Sey Jigme. During this time Khandro Rinpoche will teach and practice with Sey Jigme online to her worldwide sangha. New participants are welcome to join and connect to Milarepa’s blessings.  \n\n\n \n\n  \n           —————————————- \nNote that in the next weeks\, the 4 Sangha Practices: \nChenrezig (fortnightly on Sundays)\, \nDevotion and Stability (every Sunday)\, \nGuru Rinpoche’s Shower of Blessings (every Wednesday evening) and \nMilarepa Guru Yoga (every Monday evening): \nwill be available on a subscription basis. \nThe cost will be $21 per month paid in advance. This will entitle you to attend any and all of the above sangha practices within that month. Anyone wishing to attend just one or two practices will still need to join the subscription for one month minimum\, after which it can be cancelled.  The subscription is intended to encourage practice together as a sangha\, as well as stable support for the ongoing dharma work of Khandro Rinpoche. \nKhachodling Online Events Team will send an email out when this subscription system is commencing. Until that time we are issuing event ticket registration as usual.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nTonight’s Milarepa practice will include a Candlelight puja. \nCandlelight PujaThe candlelight puja is a practice from the Buddhist tradition\, which involves preparing a beautiful flower and candle mandala and invites participants to invoke those in their lives who have died or who are having difficulties. SUMMARY:Guru Rinpoche Practice Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Join to practice ‘A Shower of Blessings: A Guru Yoga Practice to Accompany the Seven Line Prayer’. \nThrough this practice\, for which Khandro Rinpoche began providing transmissions in 2025\, we offer a profound invocation to Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). This sadhana was composed by Mipham Rinpoche and arranged by Togden Shakya Shri\, two great luminaries whose enlightened minds are inseparable from that of Guru Rinpoche himself. \nTogden Shakya Shri\, Khandro Rinpoche’s great-grandfather\, was a living flame who kept the lamp of Guru Rinpoche’s teachings burning brightly in the Himalayas. She & her brother Sey Jigme were born into this family of yogis who upheld the ancient lineage in its purest form\, so their daily life was immersed in meditation and sacred chanting\, including this special practice from their family lineage. \nThe seven line prayer\, around which this text is constructed\, holds the essence of the entire Vajrayana path. It is a heartfelt invocation that sprung from the enlightened minds of the Dakinis—wise and powerful female guides—from the eternal dimension of reality. \nJoin this practice. It is coordinated by Hobart Sangha. \n https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85759967960

SUMMARY:Milarepa Practice Sessions - 20 April
DESCRIPTION:Milarepa (1052-1135) exchanged a life of cruelty and maliciousness for one of contemplation and love. \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nMilarepa (1052-1135) exchanged a life of cruelty and maliciousness for one of contemplation and love. SUMMARY:Guru Rinpoche Practice Sessions - 15 April
DESCRIPTION:Join to practice ‘A Shower of Blessings: A Guru Yoga Practice to Accompany the Seven Line Prayer’. Through this practice\, for which Khandro Rinpoche began providing transmissions last year\, we offer a profound invocation to Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). The seven line prayer\, around which this text is constructed\, holds the essence of the entire Vajrayana path. It is a heartfelt invocation that sprung from the enlightened minds of the Dakinis—wise and powerful female guides—from the eternal dimension of reality. \n https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86234257832

This text and commentary\, known as “Heart Treasure” provides a complete path through the practice of the six syllable mantra of the Buddha of Compassion. Khandro Rinpoche received these teachings directly from Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and we are fortunate indeed to study & practice with such a direct and profound connection.  \n\n\n\nKhandro Rinpoche will again teach fortnightly until further notice. Whilst committed students have progressed in their study of the text through to verse 38 in the chapter on The Path of the Tantras\, Khandro Rinpoche will review all chapters again in her signature study group style to assist our deepening understanding\, reflection and application. \n\n\n\nThis series of study group teachings require a commitment to ongoing study and practice at your level. Therefore you will need to register as a member prior to being able to make your offering\, receive the unique zoom link and attend each teaching.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Us for This Special Event – Register for a Ticket\n\n\n\nEach ticket grants access to the same event\, but allows you to make an offering that feels right for you.
